Allied Health Service
Muscular Dystrophy Queensland (MDQ) provides an allied health service that currently includes counselling, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. These therapy services are provided in the south east corner of Queensland – within a two hour drive of our Nundah office and can be centre- based (Nundah), home visits or provided in community settings.

Occupational Therapy (OT):
An Occupational Therapist (OT) knows how to help people to participate in the activities of everyday life and to build their independence. OTs achieve this by working with people and their communities to participate in the daily activities they want to do, need to do, or are expected to do.
